Rebalance
In most cases, combination skin tends to be oily in the T-zone and dry on the cheeks. If this is you, follow the routine below.
If this isn't you, follow a routine that meets each area's unique needs. For example, a sensitive skin routine for your T-zone and an oily routine for your cheeks.
Our Makeup Remover & Cleansing Oil is suitable for all skin types, from very dry to very oily, it rebalances and gently yet deeply cleanses the skin.
Spritzing the Pure Hydrosol Toner has anti-inflammatory benefits and helps to balance sebum and restore the skin's acid mantle. Suitable for all skin types.
For an oily T-zone, we recommend our light and readily absorbed Elderberry & Chia Seed Serum. This formula is enriched with omega-6 fatty acids which can be deficient in oily and acne-prone skin. Replenishment can help normalise sebum, reduce inflammation and repair the skin’s barrier function.
For dry areas, such as the cheeks, layer the serum with our Light Face Cream, Everybody Cream, or Skin Saviour Cream.
Use our detergent-free Makeup Remover & Cleansing Oil to deep cleanse the skin and pores and replenish the skin's barrier.
Spritzing the Pure Hydrosol Toner has anti-inflammatory benefits and helps restore the skin's acid mantle.
The Bakuchiol Revival Serum is light, readily absorbed, and suitable to all skin types - so it can be applied to the whole face, as well as the neck and eye areas. 1% active Bakuchiol has been shown to boost collagen production, reduce hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and relieve the symptoms of acne. Unlike Retinol, Bakuchiol does not decrease the size of oil glands and cause dryness or irritation.
For dry areas, choose from 1. Rich Face Cream, our richest moisturiser 2. Light Face Cream, a little lighter 3. Skin Saviour Cream, an extra soothing formula for for face, neck and eye 4. Everybody Cream, an essential oil free formula for sensitive skin.
FAQ
Wait... What Are My Unique Skin Needs?
We get it, it can be tricky to ascertain whether your skin is dry, sensitive, oily, or... all of the above?
This is because our skin changes with age, weather fluctuations, health and hormone changes, lifestyle and diet.
That's why we made a simple multi-choice quiz: so you can check in and identify your skin type whenever you need to.
The 1:5 Rule
Mokosh formulas are around 5 times more concentrated than regular skin care products.
This means that you only need to use one-fifth the amount.
As a general rule, half a pea-sized amount will moisturise your whole face.
