Growing a Forest, One Order at a Time
At Mokosh, we are dedicated to restoring health to your skin and the planet. That’s why, since 2019, we have been planting trees with every order over $100.
Thanks to our community, we’ve funded the planting of over 8000 native trees through partnerships with Carbon Neutral and One Tree Planted.
The Difference a Tree Can Make
This work isn’t symbolic, it’s transformative. Every tree planted has a positive effect that sends ripples through the ecosystem.
Each tree planted helps to support a deeper purpose:
- Rebuilding native ecosystems
- Creating habitat for endangered species
- Regenerating exhausted soils
- Recharging water systems
- Drawing carbon out of the atmosphere

The Yarra Yarra
Currently, our trees are being planted in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor by Carbon Neutral, around 400km north of Perth. The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor is one of only 35 recognised biodiversity hotspots in the world.
About 90% of the current planting area was cleared by European settlers during the 1900s to allow for the farming of crops and livestock. The removal of the natural woodland environment has threatened many plant and animal species with extinction.
The Broader Impact of Reforestation
Our support of tree planting in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, managed by Carbon Neutral, contributes to a project with far-reaching and deeply meaningful outcomes socially, environmentally, and culturally.
Since the project began in 2008, it has achieved:
- Over 30 million trees, plants
and shrubs and have been planted, restoring more than 18,500 hectares of cleared land - More than $8 million invested into regional communities, supporting 140 local businesses and creating casual employment for over 200 people, including First Nations workers.

- Wildlife survey monitoring has identified over 450 species of flora, insects and birds in the region
- Thirteen bird species of conservation significance have been identified as well as threatened species such as Malleefowl, Bush Stone-curlew, Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo, Western Spiny-tailed Skink and Woylie (Brush-tailed Bettong), as well as 30 species of conservation-significant native flora.
- Development of a pioneering approach to
direct seeding and hand planting has helped control weeds and harvest water, reducing planting costs and enabling greater diversity, survival and growth rates.
One Order = One Tree
We plant one native tree for every online order valued at $100 or more. It’s a small, steady contribution to a greener, more resilient future.
For us, the tree planting campaign isn’t a side project. It’s a central part of our mission: to tread lightly, give generously, and work in harmony with the natural world.
Thank you for helping us grow something beautiful.
